Our PAT Testing service is carried out to the highest standards by qualified PAT testing engineers. We provide a cost effective service that is second to none using the latest PAT Testing equipment. Ensuring you receive a fast and efficient service with minimum disruption, we also offer an out of hours service if required.
PAT Testing Is A Statutory Requirement!
This is to ensure that electrical equipment is safe and suited to the purpose for which it is used as shown by the following regulations:
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 States:
"Every employer shall ensure that work equipment is so constructed or adapted for the purpose for which it is used or provided". Regulation 4(1)
"Every employer shall ensure that work equipment is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair". Regulation 5
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 States:
"As may be necessary to prevent danger, all systems shall be maintained so as to prevent, so far as reasonably practicable, such danger". Regulation 4(2))
"It shall be the duty of every employer and self-employed person to comply with the provisions of these Regulations in so far as they relate to matters which are within his control". Regulation 3
Your Insurance May Be Invalid Without PAT Testing!
An ever increasing number of insurance companies now also stipulate that PAT Testing is to be carried out as a condition of their policy
Our P.A.T Testing Service Is Available For All Premises:
Our services are available for all types of commercial or residential premises including tradesmen's tools. From a multi-storey office block to a home office or an industrial unit to tools within a van.
We can test 230v and 110v electrical equipment class 1 or class 2.Your electrical appliances will be tested to the highest standards inline with the latest IEE Code of Practice and Electricity at Work Regulations. Upon passing the Electrical Safety Tests a small discreet pass label will be attached to the item tested. Each label will have its own unique asset number to which a date of testing and a retest due date will also be added.
Our Service Also Includes The Following Free Of Charge:
- A printed asset list of all items tested and a certificate of testing.
- Replacing fuses in plug tops if incorrect amp fuse is already fitted.
- Rewiring plug tops if required.
- Free minor repairs where possible..

Our site attendance fee is just £75.00 and includes the first 25 Electrical Safety Tests. Each additional test is then charged as per the schedule below, based upon the total number of tests completed.

Replacement 3 pin plug tops will be charged at £2.00 per plug top
Microwaves will receive a standard P.A.T test and an additional microwave radiation test will be performed to ensure the radiation levels emitted are not excessive. A microwave will therefore incur two tests and each test result will be recorded separately.
Where an appliance has a detachable power lead each item tested will count as a separate test. An example of this being a cd radio with a detachable power lead this will also incur two tests and each test will be recorded separately.
In exceptional circumstances there may be a small additional charge for some areas, to cover travelling costs / parking fees & congestion charges.
Prices may vary according to site conditions.
We operate within Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Kent and London but can quote for your project outside of these areas if required.
